Since 2007 Seattle Cycling Tours has been offering premier cycle tours of Seattle and beyond. Bicycling Magazine named our Bainbridge Island tour one of the ten best guided tours in the USA, and TripAdvisor users have honored us with a Certificate of Excellence three years in row.


Our Basic Seattle City Cycling Tour is the introduction to Seattle, it's history, and some of the most popular neighborhoods in the downtown core; Pioneer Square, The Metropolitan Tract, International/Chinatown, Waterfront, Seattle Center, and South Lake Union (Amazonia) Neighborhoods, all in one 2-3/4 hour ride around the city. Sounds, sights, smells and of course history - Where Seattle came from, what we've been doing since and what the future might hold. FEATURING AN ALL NEW ROUTE FOR 2016 !!

  Time: 2-1/2 hours. Distance: 6 miles. Features: views, history 

  Skill Level: moderate hills to ride up. for moderate to advanced     riders.


Our GeorgetownSODO, Bainbridge Island, Ballard/Fremont, and  Georgetown/Duwamish River tours.


The Georgetown / SODO Cycling Tour Is our newest Seattle Cycling Tours addition. Making our way through the industrial and shipping community of Seattle. We see ships at dock and in the water, trains moving freight, with trucks hauling between them both. This cycling tour includes some exceptional views of the city skyline.

Time: 3 hours. Distance: 12 mostly flat miles. Features: ferry ride. Skill Level: moderate to advanced riders.


Visitors who have ridden on our Bainbridge Island Cycling Tour often don't wish to come back because they like the Island so much. A 30 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle,  Bainbridge is geographically the size of Manhattan -  minus about 1.6 million people (26,000). criss-crossed with hills, friendly people, and magnificent scenery, this is an excellent half-day adventure with some challenging hills, tasty treats, and natural surprises. This ride named by BICYCLING magazine as a top ten tour in the U.S.

Time: 5 hours. Distance: 15 miles. Features: ferry ride, pastry stop. Skill Level: hilly terrain. advance-moderate to advanced riders.


Other treats for your eyes and tastebuds can also be found on our Ballard / Fremont Cycling Tour. We ride along the waterfront via the Seattle Center, then head to the Ballard Locks where we see boats and ships making their way from fresh to salt water and go below ground to see migrating salmon. Then we head toward Fremont, the "Center Of The Universe". Here we spot all sorts of eclectic art and architecture       ( and a person or two,) treat ourselves to some Theo's Chocolates and head on further to see some houseboats on Lake Union. We pass through Amazonia as we head back to our starting point.

Time: 3-1/2 hours. Distance: 14 miles. Features: Stop for chocolate samples, Skill Level: moderate to advanced riders. 


Another very pedal with interesting views and scenes and beer is the Georgetown/ Duwamish Cycling Tour south of Downtown. Heading through the ID and cycling alongside the light rail tracks through the SODO district, passing the enormous sports stadium complex. We stop briefly for samples of beer at Georgetown Brewing and then into the heart of Georgetown where many of the city's artist's have studios space. On the way out of town we pass Oxtail Park to see the iconic Hat and Boots, with the scenery changes quickly as we cross and follow the Duwamish River back toward town. contemplating the city skyline on the way back into town via Pioneer Square.

Time: 3 hours.  Distance: 14 miles. Features: beer tasting. Skill Level: moderate to advanced riders. mostly flat, two bridge crossings to ride up and over.
